How to Accept Your Body
My friend has the perfect body proportions because she did track last year. I feel that her body and beauty is better than mine. How can I fix my broken self-esteem? There is no such thing as "perfect body proportions." Everyone is different, and that's the way it's supposed to be. Most likely, even if you did track along with her, your body would not look the same as hers. It comes down to genetics, body structure, general health, diet, exercise, and so many other things, many of which are not in your control. There is no sense in worrying about something you can't do anything about. If you want to get into better shape, exercise. But don't obsess endlessly about your weight and what your body looks like. It's pointless, and life's too short.
