While feeling unattractive is painful, it's not uncommon, and you can learn to accept your appearance by challenging your negative thoughts. When thinking about yourself, it’s important to understand that your worth isn’t determined by your looks. Instead, focus on the things you like about yourself, like your personality and accomplishments. Try to reframe negative thoughts you have about your appearance to make them more positive. For example, if you don’t like your teeth when you look in the mirror, think to yourself, "Maybe my smile isn't perfectly straight, but it's unique and it still lets everyone know when I'm happy."
